TDS Park Reports, Tokyo DisneySea

Park Report: January 28th

Hello! As always, if you follow me on Twitter you may have already see these photos, but this post is more for myself than anything to keep track of my visits. My goal for this year is to visit TDR at least 50 times and this is my 5th visit! Only 45 more to go.

I always get really excited after I get off the train because I am always greeted by happy Disney signs! There’s a Donald one too as you come down the stairs from the platform. Try to find it if you ever take the train to or from Disney! Don’t stop on the stairs though, you might get trampled by excited guests heading the the parks or exhausted parents heading home.

The Frozen Fantasy festivities continue. You can get your own monorail pass with Anna, Elsa, and Olaf on it!

Currently there are no seasonal decorations at the Resort Gateway Station. Hopefully there will be some nice ones for Easter!

Passing by Disneyland on the monorail. Looks pretty peaceful to me!

DisneySea was pretty peaceful too. The bigger rides had up to 120 min lines, but overall it wasn’t very crowded.

The Pinocchio clan was out by the harbor for their free greeting. Mr. Foulfellow was very kind and waved away a group of high schoolers so I could get a nice photo of him. I know he’s a villain, but he’s always such a gentleman. A wolf in sheep’s clothing, erm, a fox in sheep’s clothing…?

It was a windy day at the park so all of the parasols were folded up

I then headed over to Zambini Brother’s Ristorante to try their special set! I reviewed the Zambini Special Set in a previous post.

I have zero pictures because photos inside the Broadway Theater are not allowed, but after lunch I headed over to see Big Band Beat. Because the parks was so empty I was able to get a seat in the second row and I only had to wait an hour! I have close to no lottery luck, but thankfully I’m used to waiting for shows for long periods of time. As always Big Band Beat was awesome and it was really exciting being able to sit so close to the stage!

‘Tis the season for construction. Journey to the Center of the Earth is closed for refurbishments and Mysterious Island is going under some serious touch ups! I’m very excited for the construction around the harbor to be finished!

After wandering around Sea I headed over to Land to try my luck at the lottery for Once Upon a Time, but of course, I was not able to win tickets. I thought about grabbing a spot outside of the lottery seat area, but there were already a lot of people waiting and it was getting colder by the minute so I headed home. It was a great day and even though I didn’t get on any attractions I had lots of fun and took lots of photos! I will share some of them with you in my next post!

If you have any requests for photos or food reviews please don’t hesitate to leave me a comment!

  1. Hi! Just dropped by to say “Hi” and to tell you I love your blog! I live in the United States and get to go to Disneyland in California about once a year, but I would LOVE to go to Japan someday to visit the parks there. I love seeing your pictures of the park, the food, and the merchandise. Good Luck with your goal of 50 visits this year. ;)

    1. Hi Jennifer! Thanks so much for commenting! It means so much to me :) I would love to visit Disneyland in California. I’m really hoping that I can make it during the 60th anniversary. If you ever decide to plan a trip to Japan please let me know and I will be more than happy to help! :D

      1. Your welcome. :) I am happy to leave feedback. That would be nice if you can go for the 60th! I will be there in April and August of this year. My family and I have annual passes right now that are good through November. So we plan to visit at least those 2 more times. I also would like to go at Halloween time. I haven’t been there yet during that time and would like to see what the park looks like.

Thank you so much for the offer of help. It is something that is on my bucket list. I don’t think it will be something that happens for at least 5 years or so, but it is something I plan to do sometime. :)
